One of the most common questions we hear from our customers at STNR is about Delta 8. It is one of the newer options in legal CBD products on the market, but it offers some of the same effects as Delta 9 THC, which is illegal or only available for medical use in many states.

The Basics of Delta 8

Delta 8 is one of over 100 naturally occurring cannabinoids in the industrial hemp plant. However, it is a minor cannabinoid, which means it occurs only in very small amounts in the plant. Harvesting enough Delta 8 for commercial production of edibles, vapes, and gummies would be cost-ineffective and extremely difficult, so it is manufactured by a process that uses CBD or Delta 9 THC as the original ingredient.

Through the chemical isomer process, a double bond is created in the molecule that makes it chemically different from Delta 9 THC, the cannabinoid that creates the “high” associated with the use of cannabis. This double bond also reduces the psychoactive effect of Delta 8 without reducing the wellness potential of the compound.

As STNR, we offer only the top quality Delta 8 products on the market. We ensure our products meet the legal requirements for Delta 8 products under the 2018 Farm Bill, which means no more than 0.3% THC is present in the products.

Delta 8 can be infused into a variety of edibles, or used in the development of exceptional quality vape cartridges, disposables, and pre-rolls., To find out more, contact the team at STNR at 407-730-4357.
